Product Description

The JONO baler is a fully automatic system for compacting different types of materials and their processing into bales. The handled materials are first compacted and subsequently tied into bales.
 

Working Principle



After the material has reached the desired fill level on the filling chamber, the cover of the baler is closed automatically. When the baler cover is closed, the main ram presses the materials together. At the same time the baler is refilled from the feed belt. After the ram has reached the foremost position, it moves back again. The material that has been pressed enough is loaded into the intermediate hopper above; the cover of the baler will then open again and refill the cover of the baler with the material. The cover of the baler closes again after the material has fallen into the compression chamber of the baler. This procedure is detected by photocells. The whole process is repeated until the desired bale length (which is adjustable) has been reached. The cover stops in front position after the cycle mentioned above is finished. The wire device moves through the cover around the bale, from the bottom up. The device accepts a wire from below and from above the baler. After the wire device is again in the top position, the wires are cut and connected. After that, the press ram moves backward again and the whole process is repeated.

Features

The cover of the bailing press ensures that a closed press channel is built, so that a difficult compressible material does not need to be cut off during the pressing process.
Thanks to the cover of the bailing press, much more material is compressed per cycle. The capacity of a baler is also much larger than the capacity of balers with cutting system with a comparable engine performance.
Since the baler is not equipped with a cutting knife, the maintenance costs are much lower, because regular exchange of cutting blades is unnecessary and the guide strip and wheels can be used by the low load longer.
The material is equally distributed in the bale and the bales are more compact and rectangular. Therefore, such bales are much easier to stack than bales from a cutting press.
The fill opening is as wide and deep as the press chamber.

This project with the treatment capacity of 600t/d is set for a fine sorting of MSW before they were sent to the CFB (circulating fluidized bed) for incineration. Specifically, JONO introduces the Lindner shredding technology and adopts two-stage shredding process in this project to shred the combustible materials into 80 mm fuel (SRF) so as to enhance the complete combustion rate and mitigate the pressure of treating the exhaust gas. Besides, the mechanical sorting process is also applied in this project to sort out ferromagnetic metals, in-combustibles (glass, stone, ash, etc.) and combustibles.

The first pilot plant at Singapore to treat the non-source sorted waste, it includes pre-treatment, bio-drying and post-treatment, within the pre-treatment, HDPE, LDPE,PP and MIX PET will be sorted out, the remains will be sent to bio-drying box, after 8-9days, the water content will be reduced from 45% to 25%. After the post treatment,ferrous, non-ferrous and inert could be separated. Eventually the calorific value of RDF will be increased from 1000kcal/kg to 3800kcal/kg, which could reach the EU standard Class III. This MBT plant is focusing on recycling and RDF production, a good reference case for the idea of " waste to value".
